Limar AIR SPEED helmet is the first model born of LIMAR AIR REVOLUTION.

Also developed in collaboration with the
Astana Pro Team, it was the best at an average speed of 40 km / h,
during the comparative tests carried out in the Magny-Cours wind tunnel
in France.

Twelve air vents and three longitudinal
ducts that channel the outflow of hot air flow and speed it, allowing a
better and immediate internal cooling, to keep the head cool throughout
the duration of the performance.

Its aerodynamics and compact design, with
an attractive shape and tapered lines, make it a helmet to be used even
in everyday outings. It is supplied with magnetic buckle.

Not only with three-dimensional simulation supports, using CFD
software, but also taking into account the numerous variables,
especially in competitions, when the rider hardly remains on the saddle
in the same position, moving the head countless times.
And here comes our Limar Airspeed: designers found the perfect
combination between aerodynamic advantage (wind tunnel test) and better
dynamics both on open roads and in velodromes (tests in real-life
environmental conditions).

It was during one of the recent road
training sessions in Calp and indoor at the Valencia velodrome, that the
Astana Team riders were able to really test the helmet. They got
incredibly excited of the characteristics that make AIR SPEED the ideal helmet.

Mips Air is a rotational management system developed and designed to be
the lightest system possible to help reduce rotational energies
otherwise transferred to the head during an impact or crash. The Mips
Air technology is integrated into the padding of the helmet and enables
and 10-15mm of relative movement between the energy absorbing layer and
the padding. The relative movement of the Mips Air is enabled by having a
backing of polycarbonate PC with a special low friction treatment and
being held by specifically designed fixations enabling movement in all
directions. By being integrated into the padding, the system is as light
as it gets and designed to fit each specific helmet and size, barely
being visible to the user and adding only limiated weight to the helmet.
